Agreement and license grant

This End User License Agreement governs your use of GPT-MD. Subject to this EULA, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use GPT-MD on macOS devices that you own or control for personal, academic, or internal business use. This is a license, not a sale.

Scope of use

You may use GPT-MD to read supported ChatGPT tabs from Google Chrome, select ChatGPT responses, rearrange response order, edit generated Markdown, preview Markdown, normalize math notation, export Markdown, and open exported Markdown in MarkEdit.

Restrictions

• Do not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or commercially host GPT-MD.
• Do not copy GPT-MD except as needed for installation or backup.
• Do not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of GPT-MD.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code except where applicable law expressly permits.
• Do not remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
• Do not use GPT-MD to bypass authentication, access controls, third-party restrictions, or extract content you do not have permission to access.

Ownership and user content

GPT-MD, including its code, design, interface, workflows, branding, documentation, and related materials, is owned by the licensor or its licensors. You retain ownership of your own content, including content you select, edit, rearrange, preview, and export using GPT-MD. GPT-MD does not give you ownership of third-party content that you do not otherwise have rights to use.

Third-party software and required settings

GPT-MD depends on third-party software and services, including macOS, Google Chrome, ChatGPT, MarkEdit, optional payment platforms, and optional App Store distribution systems. GPT-MD may require macOS Automation permission for Google Chrome, Chrome's Allow JavaScript from Apple Events setting, a signed-in ChatGPT session in Chrome, an open target ChatGPT tab, and MarkEdit installed for the intended export workflow.

No source code access

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, purchase or use of GPT-MD does not include source code access.

No warranty and third-party change risk

GPT-MD is licensed as is and as available. Functionality may break or degrade if ChatGPT changes its interface, Chrome changes Apple Events behavior, macOS changes Automation permissions, Google changes browser security behavior, MarkEdit changes file-opening behavior, or your account, network, browser profile, or system settings block extraction.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the licensor will not be liable for lost data, lost files, failed exports, inaccurate Markdown, academic or professional consequences, business interruption, lost revenue or profits, account issues with ChatGPT or Chrome, third-party service changes, or indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages. Total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for GPT-MD in the twelve months before the claim arose, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Distribution platforms

If GPT-MD is downloaded from Apple's App Store, your use may also be subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms, usage rules, and license framework. If GPT-MD is purchased through Lemon Squeezy or another direct sales platform, the payment transaction may be governed by that platform's buyer terms. This EULA governs your software license, not a payment provider's separate transaction terms.

Termination and contact

Your rights under this EULA terminate automatically if you breach it. After termination, you must stop using GPT-MD and delete copies of the app unless applicable law or platform rules provide otherwise. For license questions, contact worldpresident1030@gmail.com.
